I am obsessed with myself. Its true !!

I’ve been called many names like perfectionist, difficult and obsessive. I think it takes obsession, takes searching for the details for any artist to be good. For some sex is an obsession, the artist’ is obsessed with his subject, to give you the best. A obsession which can make one withstand negative forces, an obsession which can make one more beautiful from outside and inside, an obsession which can make one understand anothers pain, an obsession which can make one lead a live with purity in the material world and the spiritual world is nothing but a healthy obsession as this is called obsessed towards being a better human being.

Obsession is an attractive thing. People who are really, really interested and good at one thing and smart are attractive, and obsessed with what became their success. If you are not obsessed in a healthy way, then we can never give our best into anything we do. The one driving factor or the motivating factor towards reaching your goal is obsession.

I am obsessed with myself, i am obsessed with my work, i am obsessed with the Divine Power, I am obsessed with Life and Philosophy, I am obsessed with what became my success. Healthy obsession is also passion. Any obsession which can make us compassion, selfless, giving, values, motivation , love, understanding, care is called healthy obsession.

Most ask me strange questions ” why do i love to change my profile pictures? ” Another ” How can a woman who is so obsessed with herself be spiritual ? ” Spiritual means no love for yourself “..and some ” You have done a good job of marketing yourself ? ..

When such questions are asked it means the answer in their mind is ” she loves herself, she is obsessed with herself ..right? Yes, you are right. I am obsessed in myself, and in all i do. And the things i am obsessed is always been my obsession. My strong motivating and inspiration towards my work is my obsession. If someone took a lifetime to achieve success in a materialism world I would have achieved it in barely 2 years.

My obsession or love for myself has preserved me externally, if not i would be looking 60+ now as the stress of life, the ups and downs, the mud slinging by public, the bitching, the assumptions, the false accusations, pain, sorrows would make one end up being a mental wreck. Hagard with dark circles and suicidal tendencies. And drugs, alcohol and sex would have been my escape from the pain.

A obsession which can make one withstand negative forces, an obsession which can make one more beautiful from outside, an obsession which can make one understand anothers pain, an obsession which can make one lead a live with purity in the material world and the spiritual world is nothing but a healthy obsession as this is called obsessed towards being a better human being.

We always use a word without understanding the deeper level of the word. We are always used to looking at the surface rather we must use our strenght in going deeper and analysing if a word like ” obsession” or ” I ” is used in a positive or negative manner. The spiritual world says that “we” is better than ” I”..Love is better than Obsession. Right ? I agree. But what it means is ‘I” should not make us self centered, selfish, biased, jealous, vindictive. As thats negative. If obsession can ruin yourself and the others around you, than its again negative and harmful.

My obsession with time informs my poetry towards life, beauty and work, so completely it is hard for me to summarize it. We want time to pass, for new things to happen to us, we want to hold on to certain moments, we don’t want our lives to end. Obsession is a young man’s game, and my only excuse is that I never grew old. People can get obsessed with romance, they can get obsessed with political paranoia, they can get obsessed with horror. It’s isn’t the fault of the subject matter that creates the obsession, I don’t think.

Obsession does not necessarily mean sexual obsession, not even obsession for this, or for that in particular; to be an obsessional means to find oneself caught in a mechanism, in a trap increasingly demanding and endless. Obsession led me to write. It’s been that way with every blog I’ve ever written. I become completely consumed by a theme, by characters, by a desire to meet a challenge.

My current obsession with creativity is the result of continued striving for immortality in an era when most people no longer believe in an after-life. The immortality of the soul is a matter which is of so great consequence to us and which touches us so profoundly that we must have lost all feeling to be indifferent about it. Our soul is cast into a body, where it finds number, time, dimension. Thereupon it reasons, and calls this nature necessity, and can believe nothing else. Probably I chose immortality because mortality is a universal human obsession. Love is an obsession. It has that quality to it. But there are healthy obsessions, and mine is one of them. This a consistent soul understands the obsession, believes in destiny, a capricious one in chance.

What moves those of genius, what inspires their work is not new ideas, but their obsession with the idea that what has already been said is still not enough. Without obsession, life is nothing. Your ability to use the principle of autosuggestion will depend, very largely, upon your capacity to concentrate upon a given desire until that desire becomes a burning obsession.Without obsession I would not be amongst you in this platform in a span of 5 months as i started my page spiritualism in the month of feb 2009 and my first introduction to facebook. As I was never a internet person due to extensive travel and my obsession towards my being a Entrepreneur. I achieved my goal in 2 years. And needed something more to the obsession as the energy was high and i was galloping. This again due to obsession.

Movies, Modelling was never a obsession. Therefore I was never driven towards it with a one track mind. Anything which is a obsession has made my success more like a dream come true. The passion which again is also called obsession has made me achieve my goal in a short time where people take a lifetime and yet not satisfied.

Yes and our obsession with youth in our culture and how we, women lie about their age after 35 obsessively and no one wants to let anyone know they’re getting older. Why are we, so obsessed with foreign things? Is it a legacy of our colonial years? We want foreign television sets. We want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology. Why this obsession with everything imported?

The work is a calling. It demands that type of obsession. The obsession required to see a feature through from concept to release is not a rational thing to do with your brief time on this planet. Nor is it something to which an intelligent person should aspire. The happiness of one’s own heart alone cannot satisfy the soul; one must try to include, as necessary to one’s own happiness, the happiness of others. creative habit is like a drug. The particular obsession changes, but the excitement, the thrill of your creation lasts.

The more decadent a culture gets, the more they have a need for what they don’t have at all, which is innocence, so you end up with kiddie porn and a perverse obsession with youth. I feel in the depths of my soul that this is the highest of all obsession, most sacred, and most irreversible part of my obligation to preserve , although it may cost me my life.

Last but least.. Do not forget to leave a comment.. Thank You

I like reading your writings. You are indeed a deep person. Somebody with your kind of

thought can actually not be vain. We must always look at what is coming out (The inside ) than the outside to qualify any person. I think it’s ok to love yourself if that won’t prevent you from loving others. Infact, you must have to love yourself, be grateful to your maker, before you can actually, fully appreciate others.

Your beauty, acheivments or whatever have not beclouded you concern for others and humility, to that extent, I have no problem with that. In fact, we were told by God Himself that the greatest law is to love others as you love yourself. That means you must in effect, first loved yourself.

      More grace!

      • fawziagulsha  On September 10, 2009 at 6:52 pm

Thank you Gabriel as thats a nice way to look at things. If one does not benifit , we must not be blind to look around to see the others who benifit. And when we see that we dont benifit from one , but many get from that source, if we are pure from within, we will be happy for the others. I think you see that through your eyes. Thank you

hi Gulsha what a way to define obsession and i really loved this “The spiritual world says that “we” is better than ” I”..Love is better than Obsession. Right ? I agree. But what it means is ‘I” should not make us self centered, selfish, biased, jealous, vindictive. As thats negative. If obsession can ruin yourself and the others around you, than its again negative and harmful.

Thank you for the reply Fawzia and also Mark. I do take exception to bitter, as I was only speaking as I find. I WAS NOT saying how Fawzia is, I was saying how she can appear to some others, not all!! Hence some of the negative things said about her.

In my own defence, I will say I have never had any problem communicating with anyone before and have been told my advice is valued and treasured by many. I am not bitter and twisted, much rather fun and bubbly and my true friends have been with me through most of my life.

    My Aura is emerald green!!

I have no understanding of why we do not connect, as I have never faced this before, maybe a life lesson for me?

    • aishah  On September 10, 2009 at 7:39 pm

      dear fiona,

just saw this comment of you. but have written another comment after seeing carol .. i think mark is righ as Fawzia does have something which i cannot explain. i did have a problem wen i met her and being a muslim, i hve gone to evry person possible. but my experience with fawzia is something i cant say. its not reiki as i knw reiki, its a huge aura which enters our body. i hve to say that my cousin too few weeks back connected after 2 months of constant trying. everytime she never bothered. but the day she answered her life changed. her husband who spoke to fawzia wept and said that she has made him quit alcohol..and the next day onwards all good news. now he is travelling to dubai as he got a job after years of misery. he is so happy that he says this energy cannot be anything other than a gift frm the Almighty. They are poor. but he told me that why shld she care for any poor man as they r not related. she has people from all over da wrld calling but stil she calls and does. she really does not differentiate which is y v luv her. mayb u did nt c tht. but fiona, its also real tht she cant connect if she wishes as she has a reason which is hard to believe. mark is rght , ur common frnd knws more. we knw less as we recieved help.

being a woman who has seen the hard side of life i can say that i hve nvr seen many as her. maybe intime u will see in the same eyes.

    • fawziagulsha  On September 10, 2009 at 7:47 pm

Fiona, i have no issues in what you say as if i had a problem i would not approve it on a public thread. Its all well taken as its a view and opinion of each one. Your view has to be honest one as thats the idea .. if all say fawzia is nice then its fake. right ? so you can continue with your views or debates ..thats the idea of being here today. its important for all of us. So dont feel i have taken in any neg way. we are entittled to freedom of thoughts.

  • Fiona  On September 10, 2009 at 8:26 pm

    Oh my Goodness!!!

I will stand by that my words were not rude or offensive merely an observation!!!

Carol your words were very moving thank you for being brave to share that, I did however chuckle at the inference to me being out of touch!! Having 2 daughters 21 and 17yrs i assure you I am very much in touch with this generation, my Daughters also think highly of me and love my company, but now I am sounding defensive, which i HATE.

It is true I do not personally know Fawzia, which is in essence the whole point i was making, which has been missed by many!! This is also true of the one’s replying to me. You do not know me either!! Had I been given the opportunity to meet her I would have jumped at it, as I love to meet people, especially from different cultures and ideas. The meeting of minds can be a great thing.

I keep getting the message if you knew, well I don’t. I do not like the mysterious inferences, I am someone who likes cards on the table. OK you brought me to the altar, but what am I worshipping. I was told to ask Len, well I know full well that Len will tell me nothing as he would tell nothing about me either, that is his way.

Maybe this is a language or a cultural breakdown, who knows. I believe there is always a reason why people come into your lives, I myself have never ever participated in these forums before, I thought it would be a diverse sharing of opinions. It would seem however, to only be a mutual agreement of one’s. It would seem that there is no way to get one’s point across, whatever the point, without some level of personal attacks!! Therefore i have decided this is not for me!

I wish you all well in your lives.
    God Bless

    • mark  On September 10, 2009 at 9:14 pm

      Dear Fiona,

I saw that and here you go. You jumped as ” Goodness”.. why are you defensive. She said nothing and again you take it wrong. Yeah..its a lot of patience Lady Fiona..one needs on a public thread. Just calm as we respect your view and its our view towards your comment. Kindly read ur comments. You contradict your statements. the first was for sure rude and yes insulting, which i agree..the second again you contradict the first and the last again defensive.

So i think you are not stable in your vision. Kindly read your comments. and now i need to sadly say you need some healing Lady.. Thank you

      • fawziagulsha  On September 13, 2009 at 3:23 am

        Dear Mark

You see the very problem of mind and body suggests division; I do not know of anything so disastrously affected by the habit of division as this particular theme. In its discussion are reflected the splitting off from each other of religion, morals and science; the divorce of philosophy from science and of both from the arts of conduct. The evils which we suffer in education, in religion, in the materialism of business and the aloofness of “intellectuals” from life, in the whole separation of knowledge and practice — all testify to the necessity of seeing mind-body as an integral whole. The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make heaven of Hell, and a hell of Heaven.

        Take care sweetheart

Dear Fawzia ,hope you doing fine .
Nice to read a note filled with self revelations and about your own identity as an individual thoughts, ideas and perceptions about ones own self .
Here are three Sufi mystical poetry from a 13th century Sufi mystic poet Rumi ,which we selected for a reading by you and all who posted there comments on her note .
We hope everyone enjoy and benefit from the readings ……
    Love ,Peace and Blessings

“O, happy the soul that saw its own faults.” – Rumi

When I am with you, we stay up all night. When you’re not here, I can’t go to sleep. Praise God for those two insomnias! And the difference between them. (Rumi)

    The beauty of the heart
    The beauty of the heart
    is the lasting beauty:
    its lips give to drink
    of the water of life.
    Truly it is the water,
    that which pours,
    and the one who drinks.
    All three become one when
    your talisman is shattered.
    That oneness you can’t know
    by reasoning. (Rumi)

    • fawziagulsha  On September 11, 2009 at 3:52 am

      Dear Salman,

Thank you and i am deeply honoured to have you here. I have no words to thank you for making this effort. Since we come from the same roots of our forefathers, its a great encouragement as along with me, you too are being a part of the change today. We are from the land of sufi community. And since you belong to one of the most powerful family of the sufi community, yet you have said nothing about what normal people speak. This means a lot and it also means a new beginning towards a new journey. “The time for peace is now. Peace is not only the absence of violence, but the presence of a higher evolution of human awareness with respect, trust and integrity toward humankind.” One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us..we tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.

The comments on this thread have people from all walks of life..Religion , culture yet their profound words is nothing but acceptance towards a new beginning.. the oneness of the heart and the soul.. In the end, it’s not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away .

When I say be yourself..iy s clear Live your life from your heart. Share from your heart. And your story will touch and heal people’s souls.Love one another and help others to rise to the higher levels, simply by pouring out love. Love is infectious and the greatest healing energy.

Our sorrows and wounds are healed only when we touch them with compassion. The greatest healing therapy is friendship and love. Thank You

    Bonjour Fawzia.
It is always a pleasure to read you.
After having a very near death experience, i tell you that there is nothing wrong with being proud of ones achievements wether material or spiritual and if both all the better.

I strongly believe that in order to love others and help others one must love oneself in order to be positive and pass that on to others( which.

You have always been respectful, courteous, well versed, extremely pleasant,
and help others in many ways.
Keep being as you are and blinding us with your smile LOL.
You are doing a great job and should be applauded!

    • fawziagulsha  On September 11, 2009 at 4:15 am

We need to give each other the space to grow, to be ourselves, to exercise our diversity. We need to give each other space so that we may both give and receive such beautiful things as ideas, openness, dignity, joy, healing, and inclusion. If we want our lives to change in any way, we need to create change NOW, because this moment is all we ever have. And to create change now we need awareness and a process of conscious manifestation. And this cannot be forced. Spirituality involves the recognition and acceptance of a God beyond our own intelligence and with whom we can have a relationship. This God can provide an experience of inspiration, joy, security, peace of mind, and guidance that goes beyond what is possible in the absence of the conviction that such a power exists. Thank You Francois.

  • Ingz  On September 11, 2009 at 1:55 pm

I’m not sure why I read this or even why I’m commenting.
I found many things that fawziagulsha said interesting. I don’t have anything to contridict any of the things she said. But I’m a kind of a philosophist and I like to think about things from every possible angle. I can see from reading this blog message that this could be written in a very self centered way. But it could also be written in a completely selfless way.

I also read Fionas message and many things she said interested me also.
Her messages could be precieved as offencive, but they could also be percieved as just plain simple wonderings and with no offence in mind.

A lot of things interest me. And if I’m obsessed with anything, it’s to understand things, to learn new things and to keep control.

I think this is the problem with writing. You can never hear the tone in a writers voice so writers can often been misunderstood. I myself am not very good with writing words. I often write messages completely calm and no offence intended, but people sometimes mistake my letters for angry letters because of poor choice of words. I also misunderstand people a lot when they are sending me letters because I sometimes can’t scence from the letters if they’re meant in a good or a bad way.

That is one of the things I don’t like blogs. I never know how people are feeling. I’m pretty good at analyzing if people I meet feeling good or bad if I’m face to face with them. Allthough I was never educated about feelings, so I don’t understand most feelings, but I do know if a feeling is good or bad just from looking at people and speaking to them.

I’m just saying, Not everything is as it seems when you read. The voice, the sound in the voice and the expression on people’s faces is what counts.

Ps. I notice that some people comment and mention that their lifes have been tragic. Everybody has their demons to deal with in their lifes. Some more than others, but hey, that’s life. I just think that everything you go through in your life, no matter how small or big, is designed to make your soul stronger when you work it out.

    • fawziagulsha  On September 13, 2009 at 3:18 am

Most people can look back over the years and identify a time and place at which their lives changed significantly. Whether by accident or design, these are the moments when, because of a readiness within us and a collaboration with events occurring around us, we are forced to seriously reappraise ourselves and the conditions under which we live and to make certain choices that will affect the rest of our lives.
We can learn from history how past generations thought and acted, how they responded to the demands of their time and how they solved their problems. We can learn by analogy, not by example, for our circumstances will always be different than theirs were. The main thing history can teach us is that human actions have consequences and that certain choices, once made, cannot be undone. They foreclose the possibility of making other choices and thus they determine future events.By the choices and acts of our lives, we create the person that we are and the faces that we wear. The torment of human frustration, whatever its immediate cause, is the knowledge that the self is in prison, its vital force and “mangled mind” leaking away in lonely, wasteful self-conflict.Some minds remain open long enough for the truth not only to enter but to pass on through by way of a ready exit without pausing anywhere along the route.
Finally the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him/ her.

Thank You for the above comment. Its appreciated and well said.

  • Zlatica  On September 11, 2009 at 2:47 pm

I`m welcoming wise and beauty in all aspect in Life.

    • fawziagulsha  On September 13, 2009 at 2:57 am

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.

      Have a great week

      Fawzia Gulsha

  • Moinuddin Ali Khan  On September 11, 2009 at 7:06 pm

Strange! Len seems to be a reference point for both. But when I looked at him in his facebook profile, I found it extremely strange that I seem to know him well although I have never seen, met or spoke to him.

    • fawziagulsha  On September 13, 2009 at 2:54 am

Fear is not the natural state of civilized people. Death is not the biggest fear we have; our biggest fear is taking the risk to be alive — the risk to be alive and express what we really are.

    • carol  On September 13, 2009 at 11:57 am

I agree with you Moinuddin, as I too hear of Len in high regard but never seen once the man giving a affirmation. I respect the gentleman whoever it is. But I personally cant find any greatness in one sitting in closed door and protecting oneself. I would appreciate if he had written a one line of thank you. I respect Lama, The buddidt priest, Syed Salman Cisty, the Moslem priest and many others as they have character. A sentence of thank you would mean a lot. I find it too strange and not realistic as Fiona and Fawzia are defending for Len. I see the affection from Lama and Syed Chisty towards Fawzia. Strange to me too !!

Carol Don’t even go there with Len he is way above all this nonsense as I should have been, what on earth does he have to thank anyone here for, including me!!! stick to your gurus and Lamas, but leave Len out of this, even though i did not mention his name originally i made reference to him which i should not have done, he is way too pure of spirit, to join in this!!!!!

I for one am done with all this madness!! My comments have been blown out of all proportion and misinterpreted. fawzia herself said they were ok and other opinions were welcome, but now it seems they are not?

You are all welcome to what I perceive as total madness. I am now thankfully stepping back into the real world, with a clean mind and heart as always, as I do not recognise the Fiona you talk of!!!

I am by no means a weak person,or any of the other things that have been said about me, and will fight for what I believe in, but my Father, God Bless his wisdom, taught me when to walk away.

    • fawziagulsha  On September 13, 2009 at 2:39 am

Fiona.. But all I would like to tell you is that you will remember me in time to come. I have no more to say of right or wrong. Opinion is to be given and debated. Thats how it works. Try it elsewhere. Its always the same. At times i am also accused or offended like ur comments and mukesh.. but thats the way it is. Keeping your mind calm is the key. If i had to breakdown with this comment i wld not be here.

This is nothing as i go thru worst.

The remarkable thing is that we really love our neighbor as ourselves: we do unto others as we do unto ourselves. We hate others when we hate ourselves. We are tolerant toward others when we tolerate ourselves. We forgive others when we forgive ourselves. We are prone to sacrifice others when we are ready to sacrifice ourselves.. Thought is the sculptor who can create the person you want to be ..

  • Asif Al Shauki  On September 11, 2009 at 11:16 pm

    Fawzia dear,
I don’t know why you have gone after this ,”sudden obsession !”..Definitly u r a talented chap, you have the ability to utilize your talents and apply it to overcome situations..But have you ever think what is the exact outcome from your obsession! It is great to judge yourself to be obsessed & I don’t know after such testimony why Fiona was after you ! But thank God she saved herself by keeping the knowledge when to step back…
What shall I add to these vast collections of thoughts n speeches ? I like to add few words although these have been examplified, explained and also interpreted with definite logic. So these might contribute very little rather annoying ppl around.
I must know what is obsession and if there is any positivness or negativity out of it !
“Obsession may be defiend as the subjective idea/s or feeling/s that is recurrent and persistant in nature & especially that causes emotional distress or that interferes with effective living.”
If one declares that one is obsessed than there should be no criticism. One should understand when to criticize and being abstained from that act is the wisdom one should possess. And me also a part of it by virtue of it’s explanation !
..Obsession is the force or element that leads to recurring thoughts, ideas, feelings or actions that it either cause significant emotional disturbance or psychological stress that interfere effective living. Here we should evaluate how effectively we are living ?!..Perhaps it is also subjective..In fact we all are in such instances everyday as we are getting older. Each n everyday gives us the experience and realization of different aspects of life that makes us more matured than the previous day! We can interprete samething differently in course of time. And nothing will seem irrelevent when time left the outcome exposed wheather positive or negative..
If we are not concerned about obsession (Common obsessions are cleanliness, injury or aggressive or sexual impulses) a compulsion of those obsessions may follow. There establishes a marked distress as the acts become more time consuming,i.e takes more than an hour each day !
The situation significantly interferes with the individuals normal routine, occupation or social activities.(In the general population 2.5% ppl faces such instances & in the population with Tourette’s syndrome the prevalence is 35 to 50 % : Taber’s Dictionary,20th edtn;P 1505)
As a compulsion of subjective knowledge me also getting obsessed, lol! I beg your perdon.
Well, perhaps spirituality is the proper identification of one’s mental capability to percieve a conception of being submerged in all souls, rather not dealing with any physical existances. Here is no bounderies of physical existance or it’s elements and criterias to expose oneself nor any tendency to live over the onesoulness mental acceptance. If one can be exposed to a esteemed existance or idea & then discouraged or prevented from carrying out the usual compulsive behaviour(common compulsions are, REPETATIVE handwashing, cleaning, praying, counting or making things orderly)
If one is successful in identifying the obsessions and prevented from carrying out the compulsive responses, repeated sessions of cognition of mental state will gradually decrese the anxiety to become anxious about less severe activities & wil help us to refrain from the compulsive action about which we often remained unaware.
May be true belief & respecting the great Creator of the Universe, determination of exact goal and care for eachother as Human; the greatest creation on this universe, we can overcome such situations.Thank you for your kind patience for scrolling over.God bless us all!
    Sincerely yours

Asif what else can one answer when all these so called tantriks and profound knowledgeable people keep asking such questions.. that its better to admit that yes i am obsessed. Can you fight all the time. I cant .. so its better to say yes ! i am ! but i say it and my true wellwishers taking in the right spirit is different than people like few keep attacking thou they hate me. when we dont like someone we should be dignified to keep away. what does this mean when people follow you thou i block then in facebook ..Now can i say anything.. best say yes.. they will break their head against a wall as i will remain the same.

Mukesh is angry because he wants to meet me and remove some rubbish tantrik stuff. Now i did not agree. From that day he is attacking me. Do i care for mukesh. no, i threw him out of my forum in FB yet he has come shamelessly. That shows how disturbed he can get at my presence. the reason none of these are capable to start on their own and keep the crowd going. Now i hold on to the crowd..so they feel they are great tantriks and i should go and get some magic done thru him..

Fiona, came to me for help. she needs help.but when the need is yours one needs to have patience. Dubai does not belong to my father that in a time of recession, magic cant happen. So she feels she cant reach me. yes one cant reach as there are many before her. yet there is time as Things will improve. Her anger and frustration is her loss. As i know the kind of connection she needs i could help her. But i also have to think that it will take sometime as most are under loss. But Fiona feels i sit in a ivory castle and not accessible. No, rather i have less time and too much work. Yet when i do for so many i would have done for her. But she lost it.

She send me a mail few days back in my facebook inbox. This again after debating elsewhere about me.. in facebook. Yet i was quiet as she was referred throu a common friend. But i told him she is just not giving the right vibes. But patience with me is needed. Like mahdi waited for 2 to 3 months patiently. one day I called him and said here i am. when the time is right i knw i hve to b there. Sankalp never asked to call. just left his contact. but i called him too. and he told me that he did wish that one day i will call.. and i did. so Fiona must understand that i know when my attention is needed. but sadly she has underestimated as I have very good connections in Dubai.. and her work would hve been done. No she thinks i cant be reachable. No i am very instinctive. if i feel positive i dont need to b chased. asking a favour and telling me about myself is nothing but hypocrisy. I was right wen i felt that she is too selfish.

I have a very very busy life with my work and the amount of people i heal globally is not a joke. It takes 3 to 4 hours each calls.. and days i have not slept. I have a shower with the speaker phone on. I have not eaten a meal decently.. its like sometimes i eat nothing. I am unlike others who say ” tell them i am taking a nap”.. i am with the people who are under me 24/7 till they say goodbye. I have serious issues to deal with. I cant be selfish and say no. i am sleeping or eating. Poor Karishma is waiting for 6 months. there are so many like Eleora..that poor girl wants to say just hi..and still waiting.. Anyways i am glad that this has happened as Fiona has no idea that she has lost much more than what she wanted. Its her bad luck. Asif, thanks for your concern but this is nothing as in public life these things are common. you cant expect the whole world to love you.

There is a universal truth, apparent both from spiritual teachings and quantum physics, that we are each and every one of us wholly at the center of our own universe. Each of these universes is malleable and changeable, according to our thoughts and intentions, and it is for this reason that prayer and meditation can improve our lives so drastically; often seemingly in an instant.

To truly love ourselves, which is indeed one of our highest callings, is to be driven by Spirit rather than by Ego. To truly love yourself, you must be true to your own inner nature. Shakespeare said it beautifully in Hamlet, when Laertes father speaks these words to him, as Laertes boards a ship for a long journey:

This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.

Those who truly love themselves, and are true to their own callings, are by nature honest, kind and giving to others, which you certainly seem to be, Fawzia; both from your own words and from the words of those who know you personally.

It is those who do not truly love themselves, who are Ego driven and do not realize that we are all Spirit in a temporal body, who commit all the crimes of the world, start and prosecute the wars, oppress those who cannot or will not stand up for themselves, and destroy our natural environment and its myriad resources. On the other hand, as in the Teachings of Abraham, there is no death, you can’t get it wrong, and you never get it done. Every Spirit, regardless of the actions of its temporal body, is pure and perfect; this is why we are called not to judge, as we cannot know the inner workings of anyone but ourselves, and many do not even know themselves.

Eileen Caddy, the founder of Findhorn in Scotland, spoke of this beautifully in “Opening Doors Within,” when she describes having heard an inner voice tell her that she must learn to love herself. At first she was dismayed, having been taught like so many of us that to love yourself is selfish and wrong, and she was unable even to wrap her mind around the prospect. Gradually, though, she came to realize that the voice was right, and looking into a mirror one day, she began to tell herself that she loved herself, and over a very short period of time she came to believe it and put it into practice in her own life. It is through learning to love herself, despite all her real or perceived failings, which allowed her and her partners to create the magic that is Findhorn.

We cannot truly love anyone, fully and unconditionally, without first learning to love ourselves. Overcoming the myths of present day society can be extremely difficult, when society is so busily telling us all that we are not powerful enough, not wealthy enough, not . . . whatever . . . enough. Society, including politics and organized religion and their Ego-driven leaders, is what has brought us prisons instead of education, social and religious persecution, nearly worldwide oppression of women, pogroms and Auschwitz, not to mention more garden variety crimes such as robberies, rapes and murders.

I too was raised in a family which taught me from an early age that self-love was wrong. Not surprisingly, both of my parents were miserable, and separated when I was eleven, divorcing a few years later. But, even as a child, something within me knew that I was worthy, that I was powerful, and most importantly that I was deeply loved . . . far more so than by my family alone. Although it took me many, many years to overcome family and societal teaching, I have learned to love myself, and through being true to myself, to love unconditionally those who are in and come into my life. I have long been involved in a variety of charities, am in the process of starting a charitable organization myself, and will continue working to help those less fortunate.

Woodrow Wilson once said that to approach from a position of trust was to approach from a position of strength; whereas to approach from a position of mistrust and fear was to approach from a position of weakness. I cannot think of a better example of a fearful, mistrusting and weak-minded power base than the administration of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Fear and mistrust of others seemed to be their entire modus operandi, which included the marginalization and demonization of all who disagreed, as well as the oppression of our own citizens, both at home and abroad. My personal feeling was that they mistrusted others, including those of differing opinion, because they were judging them by their own questionable actions and motivations.

This is NOT the American way; it is the dishonest businessman’s way.

If you truly love yourself, you do not approach others with fear and mistrust; it is that simple. You approach others with openness and welcome, as soon-to-be friends. Having lived my life largely by this tenet, there are those in my life who have called me naive, a fool and a flower child. Being a peacemaker at heart, I do not consider those to be bad things. I would rather give my friendship and trust, and be proven wrong, than to mistrust and be proven wrong. If that makes me naive; so be it.

Thank you, Fawzia, for your many thought-provoking posts. And thank you to everyone who participates, on whatever level, because it is through ongoing communication that minds and hearts are challenged, enlightened and changed.

You never know when or where you will come across a thought or idea that will change your life forever.

    Peace and Blessings,

      Dear Cori

Hope you are doing good .. I would like to thank you for your comment on my blog. Your words are beautiful and full of wisdom.. very powerful words.. truly its really powerful and great strong words…

“To me there is no difference between one person and another; I behold all as soul reflections of the one God. I can’t think of anyone as a stranger, for I know that we are all part of the One spirit.”

“The time for peace is now. Peace is not only the absence of violence, but the presence of a higher evolution of human awareness with respect, trust and integrity toward humankind.”

I appreciate your time and your input.

      Have a peaceful weekend.

Fawzia you do yourself no favours by putting my personal information on here! I would thank you to stop. I do not like or respect your methods of proving your point and require no help from you now or in the future. I assure you of my strength and dogged determination to succeed and although I may have shown some weakness under stress, I can assure you this is not the norm, my company and my staff will survive and through my efforts and mine alone and the support of a great and loyal team!
I have no agenda or hatred for you. To me you are just a person who could help with my business as are many before you and will be many after you, such is the nature of business.

I would be grateful if you would adopt a more mature approach, as I also have deleted your groups and removed you from my e mail, being aware there is nothing to be gained from the continuation of this situation!

    Thank you

    • fawziagulsha  On September 13, 2009 at 2:22 am

Sorry Fiona if I could put all that you said about me a huge mirror of myself that means when we speak of another we also must be ready for all that is coming. Its never a one way.

In a public forum when you could write as your view, i also have my justification. In my eyes that is not any deep secret as that relates to the subject here.

Fiona I think I apologize for this but if you are aware what it is to start any friction in a public thread, you would not as kindly read some threads and you will see that here its quite respectable.

In some forums, they use languages which also happened in one of mine too.

So when you speak I have not censored anything and was fine. Similarly you need to learn to accept things gracefully.. anything of this is no secret. Kindly read your first comment if you have forgotten. I cant forget as i was on the recieving end.

      Thank You

I cant understan Fiona. I suggest you take some anxiety pills. I am sure you need to take help as i can see signs of that. just a concern

      • Fiona  On September 13, 2009 at 1:06 pm

Oh sorry Carol, had to reply to that, anxiety pills, ha ha ha ha you are so wide off the mark!!!

Please don’t be concerned. I am sure I will survive.

        Thank you anyway.

I am sure someone will twist this, as someone rightly said you cannot put true emotions into the written word, to portray who you truly are, but I assure you of a great sense of humour and very laid back. except like most humans, when something really gets up my nose.

Now if anyone could tell me how to stop getting e mails for replies to this group, that would be truly helpful!

    Dearest Fawzia,

I read this article twice, I think you’re fabulous. Whoever feels you are wrong, well I seriously feel you need not bother about them. I have said this earlier, let barking dogs bark. You have a gift that no one does, some are jealous of you…most of them envy you. Be yourself. You are a beautiful, intelligent, confident, accomplished woman. You don’t need anyone telling you what to do.

Haven’t you told me that everyone has the right to live the way they want? Why care and worry about what people say? Live your life at your terms. You have the right. You are a woman of today. For Christ’s sake, it is the 21st century! All you men out there, who are totally against feminists (me as well), leave us (women) alone!

Every article that you write talks about you…and it oozes with feelings that not everyone quite understands. I love you for being obssessed about yourself. There’s no harm in that. I feel I am obssessed about myself too. And I am proud of it!!!

Take care and do not pay heed to people who do not understand you, Fawzia.

    With love and hugs,

ha ha ha that was a good joke.. you made me laugh here. I have not deleted any of your comments thou it is written badly as its good to have some bad comments too. The comments are the refection of you so i just laugh at it. and like to keep it. Does not bother me.

“Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other, or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy — in fact, they’re almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other. Both at once can produce unbearable turmoil..Jealousy is the tribute mediocrity pays to genius.”

  • fawziagulsha  On September 13, 2009 at 2:49 am

Anybody can become angry, that is easy; but to be angry with the right person, and to the right degree, and at the right time, and for the right purpose, and in the right way, that is not within everybody’s power, that is not easy. Flying off the handle sometimes causes hammers and humans to lose their heads, as well as their effectiveness ..Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be, since you cannot make yourself as you wish to be.

  • fawziagulsha  On September 13, 2009 at 3:05 am

How is one to live a moral and compassionate existence when one is fully aware of the blood, the horror inherent in life, when one finds darkness not only in one’s culture but within oneself? If there is a stage at which an individual life becomes truly adult, it must be when one grasps the irony in its unfolding and accepts responsibility for a life lived in the midst of such paradox. One must live in the middle of contradiction, because if all contradiction were eliminated at once life would collapse. There are simply no answers to some of the great pressing questions. You continue to live them out, making your life a worthy expression of leaning into the light. My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man’s doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny.

An interesting point of view, yes, I mean, here is a basic principle of the universe is clearly marked.
Since each of us a part of this universe is to apply this fundamental principle for all members of the universe.
Even the smallest atomic components are subject to this principle.
It is the realization that we humans are no exception.
At the moment we are aware of this fact are we able to act.

    hello everybody
i have read all thoughts shared some positive some so very negative.all i follow a very simple philosophy “LIVE AND LET LIVE”.i have known fawzia for the last 20 yrs.we have shared our ups and downs.our friendship has been so simple.i find it very surprising to see so many judgemental statements.how long have u all known her to be so harsh.in her own small way she is trying to help people.let her be.
i think its not right to put down a person.in such a small group i see so much of negativity thats why the world is in so much turmoil.each one of us can work towards a more positive environment in our small way and in turn make the world a better place to live in.
just because i have said nice things about fawzia it does not mean i am a “chumcha”.she is a lovely person within and that reflects on her beauty.this discussion is not benefiting anybody or any cause and is geting us no where.let it end peacefully and let all the people who r helping others continue their good work.all i can say is ” fauzi keep up the good work and dont waste ur time on these unnecessary statements”the people who love u and need u will continue to do so.regards sumathi

    Dear Fiona,

Being a single lady myself too.. I have known Fawzia , not as sumathi as thats her one and only friend for years. I dont think Fawzia is seeing this anymore, as the comments were getting too nasty. As far as the quote goes your conversation with Sankalp and what you wrote here was seen. We are all educated men and women here , so we too are aware of most authors. But putting it together and adding ones wisdom is not something which most sit and do. The idea was that we appreciated her spreading goodness around and kindness. You have never had a chance to interact with her, but we have taken healing including myself, which i am not ashamed to admit. Fawzia is too humble for what she posesess as that is something which is a strange thing. She is a wonderful person. You say she wants to potray herself by pictures of being beautiful. That poor girl has no life. She lives a life which is a sacrifice. if we support right we dont become chamchas. Its our love for her as we have close connections. I think she deserves to be happy and apart fromm few pictures she has nothing to herself. Fiona, wen we speak of other pple and insult them the way you and Mukesh have done, never forget that you r a woman and a mother. She is quiet but all i can tell you is you did not see a lady who is impeccable and you just saw the outer appearence. To b honest ur first statement itself was harsh. so the ones who are her welwishers did not like as that was your assumption. This is sad and ..what can anyone say. Thank You Fiona.

Gosh! Whats going on??!!! Why are we getting so worked up ?
This is the very thing in ourselves that we should be trying to drive out! There will be many passers-by and many gazers. Dont bother with whats being said if its nonsense. Moreover, in a blog, theres something called a “moderator” who can take appropriate action, if any, by blocking the “negative vibes”. Lets not waste our time on these things.
Fawzia and others, ignore and let the wisdom flow!
Am looking forward to some good contents of your experiences.
